Key Dates
Duration: February 19th — April 18th
Practice Days & Times: Wednesdays and Fridays at either Allison Creek Church (5730 Allison Creek Rd. York SC) and Field Day Park (1101 Field Day Lane Lake Wylie SC). U14 will practice only Fridays.
Off Spring Break April 19th - April 26th
430pm - 530pm in Feb. and 6pm-7pm March and April
Game Days on Saturdays:
March 8th - Elon Park
March 22nd - Elon Park
April 5th - Elon Park
April 12th - Christ the King
Games are Jamboree format. Teams we play will include: Carolina Cardinals, Rebels, Chargers, Otters and Outlaws
Playoffs Will be held April 26th at Elon Park.
League Details
Who Can Play: Girls in 3rd -8th grade
Divisions:
U8 Co-Ed Intro to Lax (1st/2nd) No Games. Only Practices
Elementary 3rd/4th/5th Grade
Middle School 6th-8th Grade
No Prior Experience Required: Teams will be formed by school/area
Training & Coaching:
Head Coaches: Volunteer coaches for teams (We are looking for volunteers to get involved with the Tomahawks this Spring! If you are interested, please reach out to at south@clalax.com. Scholarships are available for volunteers who can commit to coaching the entire spring season.)
Game Day Oversight: CLA professional staff, officials, and trainers
Position Playing Policy
U8 Co-Ed Intro to Lax (1st/2nd Grade): No Games. No Equipment. All Friday Clinics.
Elementary 3rd/4th/5th Grade:
Players will rotate through all positions in practices and games (midfield, defense, attack, face-offs, and goalie). In games, all players from both teams will rotate positions every 4 minutes.
This ensures proper development and prevents early specialization, which can hinder growth and understanding of the game.
Middle School 6th-8th Grade: There will be no rotation rules in playing positions but players will be encouraged to try different positions.
Game Formats
U8 Co-Ed Intro to Lax (1st/2nd Grade): No Games. No Equipment. All Friday Clinics.
3rd/4th Grade and Older: Full-field play with big goals for a more advanced game experience.
Full Equipment Required for 3rd-8th Grade.
Goggles (or Helmet) and Stick
Rental Equipment Available: First come, first serve. Discounted equipment purchase options also available.

Registration Deadline: February 15th, 2025, or when spots are full.
Due to the anticipated number of students wishing to participate, registration forms will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Please note that schedule and field location subject to change due to availability and final registrations. Also, while we will make every attempt to reschedule practices and games that are canceled due to inclement weather, we can not guarantee that canceled practices or games will be rescheduled.
