CLA Divisions: Serving the Carolinas
Carolina Lacrosse Association (CLA) is dedicated to providing lacrosse opportunities to players across the Carolinas. Our organization is structured into three key divisions to ensure every community has access to high-quality programming, fostering both local pride and regional competition.
CLA North
Serving Communities: Denver, Huntersville, Cornelius, Concord, Lake Norman, Mooresville, Davidson, Mountain Island, and surrounding areas.
Programs Offered:
CLA Start: Free clinics and introductory programming in local communities.
CLA Play:
Denver Otters (Boys and Girls).
Huntersville Hawks (Girls).
Carolina Miners (Boys).
CLA Travel:
Carolina Miners: Competitive travel teams for boys north of Charlotte.
Style North: Competitive travel teams for girls north of Charlotte
Scholastic Teams:
Broncos Girls MS Spring Team
Pride Girls MS Spring Team
CLA Charlotte
Serving Communities: South Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill, Marvin, Weddington, Waxhaw, Indian Trail, Fort Mill, and more.
Programs Offered:
CLA Start: Introductory programming designed to engage the next generation of lacrosse players in Charlotte.
CLA Play:
South Charlotte Cardinals (Boys and Girls).
CLA Travel:
Team Carolina: Elite boys' travel teams for players in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
Style Charlotte (CLT): Girls' travel teams with Elite and Select tiers.
CLA South
Serving Communities: Clover, Lake Wylie, Fort Mill, Gastonia, Belmont, Steele Creek, Rock Hill, Tega Cay, York, and surrounding areas.
Programs Offered:
CLA Start: Growing lacrosse in emerging areas through free clinics and local outreach.
CLA Play:
York County Tomahawks (Boys and Girls).
CLA Travel:
Players from CLA South participate in CLA Charlotte’s Team Carolina (Boys) and Style Lacrosse (Girls) travel teams.
Scholastic Teams:
Cavaliers Boys MS Spring Team.
